“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
The discovery of God’s promises is like discovering a hidden treasure. It fills our hearts with the excitement that comes from anticipated blessings. The Bible assures us that God’s covenants are true. “Because your loving kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You,” says Psalm 63:3 (NKJV).
Therefore, God wants to meet every need we have, and the topical prayers of this Good Book enable us to meditate upon God’s covenants, believe them, receive them, and pray for them. When we turn God’s promises into personal prayers, we begin to understand more fully and deeply how much God loves and wants to bless us. “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” He said (Hebrews 13:5 – NKJV).
Finally, remember, when praying for the Lord’s will about anything questionable, keep praying if you don’t receive clear guidance after one prayer. Keep on praying until God makes it clear. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God knows the plans He has for us. Plans that are good, plans of peace and not of evil, plans that will give us a good ending. What a provision and expectation!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word, which will never return to You void. I claim the promises of Your Word for me, my family, and my friends. Thank You for meeting our every need in Jesus’s name. Amen.
